we've so much produce looking nearly, but not quite, ready....... beetroot fattening up.......

looks so good,, we have lots and lots of black berries on our 10 acres of bush we kept that piece of land when we sold the fram and moved into this town,, we go there often and have never beat the bears to any of our berries, strawberries, raspberries and now the balckberries are just starting,, I love blackberry jelly,, thickened with green apples,, yum!!,, the bears usually knew just when to eat them first,, it was a challenge for sure,,
ReplyDeleteI never really thought of bears eating soft fruit - I suppose they eat wild berries so why not cultivated ones. Dylan the Dog turns out to have a liking for raspberries - but only if I pick them and throw them for him!
