Recent rain has brought an increase in slugs/snails and the damage caused by them in the garden. Lost some strawberries to them and some nibbled bits of lettuce.

it's all at a lesser level than normal, probably due to the severely cold winter.

sorry about the pest damage but if its less than normal maybe a good thing,, accept for the creatures that eat the slugs and other pests,,they may find their bellies a bit empty this year,
