June in the Garden

 June's the month when the huge oriental poppies take over, in every shade of pink and red

 Anything smaller and less showy tends to get overlooked a bit

the old rose bush straggling up the birch tree

Foxgloves starting to reach for the sky

Path to the greenhouse covered in flowers and strawberries

 Glad to see these two bits of flower beds by the walls filling up

    

  and for once, pictures of the front garden...with more poppies..

  pyracantha and hardy geraniums by the door

and love in a mist and aquilegias
