Over the weekend, the sun came out and it almost felt like Spring was here. Even so I was puzzled that in the kitchen I could smell blossom - I actually dismissed it as washing liquid or similar, till I noticed this very small, ragged hyacinth in the corner of the windowsill. It may not look great but it scents the air and brings in hopes of Spring.

Spring?
Over the weekend, the sun came out and it almost felt like Spring was here. I could actually smell that as I read your post,,ahhhh spring,, seems a long way off here in canada.
ReplyDeleteIt's been feeling rather Spring-like here all week - mild and damp mostly but one day with sunshine which almost felt warm enough to sit outside. Then, of course, I remember that it's only January and that February is the month for snow!
