March in the Garden

March came in with a sharp over-night frost, making even the snowdrops floppy, followed by a glorious Spring Day. Posting this a day later and we're back to rain - not even the sight of the first daffodils can brighten today up.

For now the flower beds are still dominated by snowdrops but more colour is starting to show with daffodils, crocus, polyanthus, bergenia and wallflowers.

 There's even the first signs of forsythia flowers against the blue sky
