from the allotment
the first sown-by-us crop from the allotment.
Went there today to plant out cabbages, cauliflowers and onions and thought I'd check on the radishes, originally sown inside the polytunnel, but I was totally surprised to find them ready to lift!!
I think they might be Cherry Belle - certainly a type that can be sown outdoors from February though these were set earlier under cover. Earliest radishes we've ever had!
I planted mine last week, they've just started to germinate.
ReplyDeleteAre they Sparkler? They're my favourite variety, find them sweeter than the others.
