polyanthus and daffodils
polyanthus from roots given to me 30 years ago by Great-Uncle Charlie and a mix of daffodils. have missed the snow that's fallen elsewhere this week and things are flowering well.
Looks very nice! I had enormous crocuses in my pots for a few days, and hyacinths that keeled over under their own weight. Wonder if it's too late to plant some lily of the valley?
Should have thought it was fine to plant lily of the valley. If they're growing in pots they'd probably take planting out any time. I have a small number of them which smell gorgeous but always choose to spread under the slabs of the patio.
Aw, looks so lovely and springlike! Enjoy!
